The opportunity to help people from all walks of life is a privilege and the reason I became a lawyer. Today it remains the focus of my practice.

Why McLemore Law?

Kent McLemore is recognized in the legal profession for his insightful judgment and sound strategic advice. He brings to each case considerable courtroom experience in felony, misdemeanor and juvenile delinquency matters, as well as criminal appeals, child maltreatment and sex offender registry hearings. McLemore is committed to advocating on behalf of his clients in a timely and cost efficient manner.

A trial lawyer since 1990, McLemore has handled many of the region's more serious, high-profile cases. His extensive experience with murder trials has led him to become one of the few attorneys certified by the State to defend those facing the death penalty.

About Kent

Graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989, Kent McLemore practiced criminal defense in the California Bay Area for several years before returning to Fayetteville. In 1997, he co-founded the firm Buckley, McLemore & Hudson, which for 20 years provided high-quality representation to residents of Northwest Arkansas.

McLemore is a former adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he taught Trial Advocacy and supervised law students at the U of A Legal Clinic. He has presented to professional colleagues on a variety of topics, including trial preparation, jury selection and cross-examination and continues to provide leadership in his field.
