Why McLemore Law?
Kent McLemore is a criminal defense attorney serving Northwest Arkansas. He is recognized in the legal profession for his insight and sound advice. McLemore has nearly three decades of experience in handling all manner of felony, misdemeanor and juvenile delinquency cases, as well as criminal appeals, child maltreatment and sex offender registry matters.
A trial lawyer since 1990, McLemore has managed many high-profile cases in Northwest Arkansas. His extensive experience with murder trials has led him to become one of the few attorneys certified by the State to defend those facing the death penalty.
He has presented to professional colleagues on a range of topics, including trial preparation, jury selection and cross-examination. McLemore continues to provide leadership in his field.
McLemore maintains a selective practice such that each case receives his individual, focused attention. Whether representing a client in a traffic matter or a complex felony, McLemore is committed to advocating in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989, McLemore practiced criminal defense in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years before returning to Fayetteville. In 1997, he co-founded the firm Buckley, McLemore & Hudson, which for 20 years provided high-quality representation to residents of Northwest Arkansas.
McLemore is a former adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he taught Trial Advocacy and supervised law students at the U of A Legal Clinic.
